We want to inform Clemens Mill Public School families of a report of hate-motivated vandalism at Clemens Mill Public School. Waterloo Region Police Service (WRPS) is currently investigating the incident which was reported on July 27, 2024.

On Tuesday, July 30, WRPS released an update on their investigation. We will continue to partner with WRPS on this and all hate-motivated vandalism.

We are grateful for those who reported the vandalism, and for the work of our staff to quickly remove it from school property. 

The  priority of the WRDSB is to ensure that schools remain safe places where students and staff experience a caring learning environment that addresses their well-being. We acknowledge that students, families and staff at Clemens Mill PS may have been affected by this hate-motivated act. As it is summer and we don’t have the opportunity to come together at this time, we wanted to remind you about WRDSB’s mental health and well-being resources.
