If, for some reason, you do not receive a School Day message, please come into the school on Tuesday September 4th between 8 a.m. -8:30 a.m. and go into the gym to check the class lists that will be posted. Teachers will be outside on Tuesday morning to greet students and welcome them to their classroom.
- A School Councilis a collective of parents, teachers, principals, staff and community representatives that supports and enhances student learning for ALL students. School Councils provide a way for members of the school community to provide advice to and consult with the principal, and to advise the school board on education School Council Meetings generally take place on the second Wednesday of the month from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the School Library. All parents with a child at Clemens Mill (non-Board employees) are welcome to put their names forward for School Council Election. We strive to have an inclusive and diverse Council that meets the needs of our diversely rich community. Voting members are considered to be leaders in our school community and must model professionalism when dealing with School Council business. Voting members must be available to attend most meetings and participate in a collaborative and positive manner for the benefit of all. All parents, whether voting members or not, are welcome to come out to Council meetings. If you are willing to put your name forward for election, please contact Carolyn Graham, Principal, at carolyn_graham@wrdsb.ca no later than 4 p.m. Friday September 7th. Elections will take place by ballot at our first meeting on Wednesday September 12.
